In the west things were different then they were today. Everyone was trying to survive and live their lives the best they could. No internet or cars like their is today. But especially no refrigerators to keep things cold such as beer so how did they manage to do it. Many years ago there had fallen a rock from the sky. It was imposing with its massive size. It secreted a blue glowing liquid that radiated a frigid breeze. Few people knew about this rock. Many were avid about the possible uses for this great rock. They managed to break the rock into pieces so they would be able move it. Some of those who helped discover it decided that they deserved a piece. One of these, was the owner of the saloon in town. He was experimenting when he made a momentous discovery, cold beer. He had been drinking beer while experimenting and ad left the beer close to the rock. When he came back it had gotten colder. When he drank again he realized that this was amazing and something that would be very popular for his saloon. Beer was already very popular but this was revolutionary. Cold Beer would be the next big thing.

On a farm there was many animals. There were many cows and they all lived in the barn. It was a imposing red barn where all the animals on the farm lived. One day Bobby, the baby cow, “ Why is the barn red mom?”. He knew she would know the answer. She responded “ Long ago there was two brother gods of the world. They were both omnipotent gods. Envious and always trying to better one another. Both with insatiable amounts of control over the world. When it came to them designing the world they both wanted to be the leader. But they had been told to adequately share the responsibility. For this they both went off changing things and deciding what they would look like. The sky was blue and the grass was green. They finally ran into each other at a barn. They were trying to decide what color it would be. They were both tired after a long day of exploring and choosing the world to their liking. They decided to talk about what they had done. They had done many things and knew they were wrong, but now they wanted to change. They painted it red. Representing the energy, strength, and war and now love that was in their relationship.” She finished her story. Bobby was very surprised as this was a very interesting story for something so simple as the color of the barn. Bobby then thought about this for the rest of the day.
One day in the middle of the Atlantic there was pirates. The sun emitting bright light and heat which shined upon them. Sailing in their ship continuing there journey to explore the world. They remembered they had acquired some prisoners along the way. They were kept in the hull in the hull of the ship. A eery space where all the supplies was kept causing a potent smell. They begun to think what was the best way to get rid of the prisoners. They could just throw them overboard but that would be no fun. So they decided to make the walk the plank. This would be entertaining for the whole crew to watch and they could get rid of the prisoners. They decided to try it out. They brought out a couple prisoners and told them to walk the plank. All the crew surrounded to watch avidly as they jumped of the boat and into the water which undulated. All the prisoners would have to surmount their fears and jump into the water or they would be punished. In the end the pirates got rid of all their prisoners and had enjoyed the process of doing so.
Overall I think everyone played their part well. The promoters didn't really take blame for anything as we the colonists and the natives blamed many things on them. We all brought different points to the table. The promoters promised more of this "New World" and none of this was actually true. The Natives were doing their own things until the Promoters came to the "New World" and started making moves against them. I think the promoters presented their ideas the best out of the three groups. All their characters had present their opinions or points very well. They really contributed to the discussion. It was really interesting to see the three different perspectives that were present. The Promoters felt they were not at fault of anything that had happened. The natives just had been abused. The promoters and colonists just came to the natives land and started messing with them. And the colonists felt they had been lied to about everything. I still wonder how this actually happened and what must have been going through the mind of each and every person living at this time involved in this.
There was once two cats they were best friends. Tim and Tom. They did many things together. They would play together, sleep together, and climb together. They would would spend every minute the could together. But one day Tim didn’t share his toy with Tom. They had a discord. With Toms eloquent speech skills they was nothing ambiguous about it. Tim knew what he meant. Tim proceeded to walk away. He decided to give Tom some time. He went outside in the backyard, Tim and Tom would usually always go outside together but today it was different it was just Tim. He layed in the grass, the day continued but he did not know what to do. He didn't want to apologize it was his toy and he wanted to play with it. As he continued to think a ant crawled onto his paw. All the animals knew Tim and Tom were always together. The ant preceded by introducing himself as Jaque. He asked why he wasn't with Tom as they are always together.
Throughout our scavenger hunt through Balboa Park I noticed many different things. I noticed that many of the artifact, exhibits and sculptures were all connected in some way or had a similar sort of style. A lot of the sculptures or designs were very interesting to see how intricate the work was. They all connected to the history we had been learning about in class. For me the most interesting things were looking at the sculptures and designs on the buildings. These interested me so much because I couldn't imagine doing this myself. I would think of how designs like this on buildings and then also how sculptures were made before. Also the difference in tools would have been very different which would have made it harder to complete these products. The scavenger hunt showed some things that related to our in class material but I didn't find anything major that I felt really connected. There was a variety of topics presented at the museum. One of the biggest topics presented was about LGBTQ rights and landmarks. They were presented and shown in different ways which made in interesting. There was also some history about San Diego and some about the Indians. Overall an interesting trip that I really enjoyed.
For me I believe I have a overall interest in all history. I am excited to dig in deeper to all types of history. I think important leaders are something that is really interesting and also just different groups of people around the world and how they differentiated. Also how they impacted our lives today and what they could have differently and that could have changed our present lives. Overall excited to learn about all types of history.
Above is the picture of my note card. Some things they got correct. One of favorite companies is Nike. Also I do like to work out and go to the gym on my free time when I can. But some things were incorrect. What I had on there is not a railroad sign but a Xbox logo which shows that I enjoy playing video games sometimes on my free time. I also had a gear shift layout. This shows my very big liking for cars.
