Lucra LC470 1971 Jensen Interceptor Lamborghini Countach
For my career day I decided to visit Lucra. A small car company based here in San Marcos, CA. There main production car being the LC470. The first part of the day started out with me getting there and introducing myself to everyone who was working there that day. They got me to work pretty fast I started by helping them them to take apart the suspension of a car they were working on. Although I got stuck a couple times they were very willing to help. This for me was interesting and something I enjoyed doing very much. This process took a couple hours from which we then took a lunch break. When we came back they gave me a variety of smaller assignments to help with all doing with the restoration of a car they were working on. After this I really got to talk to my mentor and find out what his position in the company was. He said that he worked with a program called shopmonkey to keep track of all the money being used in the company. This is all seemed like a great system that he was utilizing. They had a Lamborghini Countach there they there were working on restoring. We proceeded to end the day by taking a drive in one of the cars they had there that day. It was a car from Fast and Furious 6. It was the 1971 Jensen Interceptor from the movie. This was a very cool car and taking a ride in it was great. This was the ending to the day which overall went fantastic.
