How has this experience (Internship) made you consider your college path that will ultimately lead to your career?
Internship for me has opened my eyes about what I thought I wanted to do. I previously thought I would want to work on cars and that I would enjoy this due to my passion for cars. With this internship experience I realized that I do like to work on cars and I would like to have an old muscle car in the future and work on it myself but I would not like to work on others cars everyday as a mechanic. With this I feel possibly looking toward the future as leaning toward my other interest which is in the interest of law enforcement. I have yet to experience this as well and it could be as in this situation where an interest could be figured out but I have yet to find out. My college path is still unknown to me and I haven't really found it yet. Overall this internship experience helped me discover somethings and narrow down possibilities for my future. With observations of my mentor and my fellow coworkers in the workspace I observed times if fun and laughter but also times of seriousness. It is great to enjoy yourself and maintain great relationships with your coworkers. But also crucial to get the work done that has to get done. With this feel of environment I felt I was able to adapt well and proceed to get all the tasks I was assigned done. Overall a great experience in a real world work environment. Below are pictures taken throughout the course of my internship. Showing different parts of the shop while showing different projects that were worked on during the time that I was there. I got to be a part of all the projects in some shape or form which was great. I will be commenting on Dylan and Cheyennes Posts. |
