Our Group dynamic or this project was pretty good we were able to work well with each other and get work done through the time that was given to us. In my group was Anil Kraft and Cole Lampro. Collaboration wise we all did well in someone doing something while someone does something else to keep on going. I think for me growth areas are always trying to find something to do that will benefit my group.
I learned throughout the humanities part of this project that many people can take and understand something differently. When we asked the different people we interviewed what love was they all had a different answer about what it was but all the answers connected in some way. For me the most interesting part were the interviews. When I thought about the questions I thought about some general questions but also some for their age. Age could change the questions my group and I asked.
I learned some things about building circuits and electricity in general. It was interesting to learn more in depth about electricity other than knowing that it can shock you. We used this knowledge of building circuits to make circuits with lights that would light up the lanterns we made. Physics thinking for me was used towards the end when my group and I went heavily into making our circuits. We thought about everything we learned about circuits to figure out why things were not working and how we could fix them.
For me the biggest thing that I learned in engineering was how to use the scroll saw. It is very similar to the band saw but smaller and to me it it seems like it can make tighter more intricate cuts. Now that I have used this tool I will be able to incorporate it into other products that I make in the future. Engineering was a big part of this project because we made our circuits in this class and just got a lot of work done.
I think I was a great asset to my team for this project I was on task and got work done that had to be done. For me I think I my strongest skill was collaboration. I was always asking to see it I could help with something or it they needed help. I think I could work on work ethic. I would work hard and then sometimes get distracted. So maybe always trying to keep my mind on something to keep on going and getting work done. We interviewed a lot of people and it was very interesting to hear stories from three people for three different age groups. Overall I think this was a great project.
